New iPhone Pano with some HDR goodness.

We stopped at a boat shop to check out some boats for our rescue mission. I forget the name of the river.

This morning I drove 30 minutes from the Wilderness Retreat, carefully driving as this is the time when the wildlife is most active. It was worth it to capture the sunrise lighting up the cliffs of Hanson Bay on Kangaroo Island.

Have you been to Kangaroo Island? If not then put it on your to do list and move it straight to the top. This is my first full day here and what I notice on this day is the shear unspoiled magic of the place. I can't imagine it will stay like so for too long. Today I stumbled upon a magical spot called Baudin Beach. A couple of snorkelers and a fisherman and that was it. You could have mistaken this place for a tropical paradise, but without the crowd. I have never seen water so clear as it was at this beach in my entire life. Today I drove 160km in total from Kingscote to Penneshaw, stopping off at such random places. I even climbed a spot called Prospect Hill. A place where Captain Matthew Flinders first set foot in the early 1800's. Kangaroo Island is rich in history, and wildlife and I look forward to exploring this great spot further in the coming days.
